ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?
Starting
Monday, we're gonna require that masks/face coverings be worn at all
times, during class, in the open gym, everywhere indoors. We know masks
are not the most comfortable. We know masks have been crazy politicized
and turned into something other than a way to reduce risk. But,
we're doing this because cases are going up, up, up, and we want to do
everything we can, short of closing our doors, to keep our staff as safe
as possible (and you, too).
We
know there will be pushback and debate. We hope people will embrace the
moment, get on board with this new way of coping and adapting,
and help get this over with as soon as possible. It's not impossible to
practice and exercise in a mask. It does take some getting used
to.

We
have a lot of room at both BEs, and we are able to maintain physical
distance. But being in an enclosed space, heavily breathing, and for 60+
minutes, increases risk. We hope and expect that
most of our people will continue to be just as supportive,
adaptable, and respectful as y'all have always been.
For those for whom this is a deal-breaker, we hope you'll join us virtually via BE Streaming. We've put a lot into that new platform, and at home, you can do whatever the heck you want!
We love you all.

The Pier was pretty perfect
We
couldn't have written a nicer script for our first-ever class at the
new St. Pete Pier. All 350 free spots were reserved, the weather was
excellent, the yogis lovely, and it felt good to practice outside
together under Bending Arc. We'll be back, at least once a month. Hear Katelyn talk about the sculpture and some St. Pete history

The new stuff keeps coming....
Jenny here. Just FYI, we added Foundations of Fitness
to our lineup, a class designed to take some of the mystery out of
common movement patters, exercises, and workout styles. Amanda Riker
leads it, and it's available to BE Members of both facilities, in-house
AND via BE Streaming, every Thursday at 2:00pm. ALSO, the late-cancel/no-show fee is now $14 and the window has increased to FOUR hours before the start of class. And, Jennifer Rose is BACK with a virtual-only lunchtime meditation, Thursdays at 12:15pm.
Keep taking care of yourself. Deep breaths, find stillness, look inward.
We'll find our way forward with patience, presence, and a lot of
self-compassion. Thank you for all you do, and for being a part of this
community.
Love,
Jenny and The BE
